/ftb/ - I built a free tactical intelligence hub for EA FC 26 with 22+ tools

Hey everyone! I've been working on Fifax News (fifaxnews.com) for the past few months — a fan-made companion site for EA SPORTS FC 26 players. It started because I was tired of jumping between 5 different sites just to check a player's stats, calculate transfer tax, and find a decent formation.So I built everything into one place. The site now has 22+ tools including a pack simulator, player comparison, transfer/tax calculators, an opponent analyzer that suggests counter-tactics, a set piece wizard, and even a playable mini-game on the homepage. There's also a dedicated hub tracking FIFA Heroes (the upcoming 5v5 arcade game) since I couldn't find reliable info anywhere else.Tech-wise it's React 19 + Vite + TypeScript + Tailwind, with Supabase on the backend. The fun part was the SEO engineering — 64 routes × 16 locales = 1,024 statically generated pages with full hreflang, JSON-LD structured data, and automated sitemap generation. Went from zero to getting indexed properly in about two weeks.Some things I learned along the way:Building tools people actually use (calculators, simulators) drives way more organic traffic than blog posts alone. The pack simulator and card creator get shared in Discord servers constantly.Internationalization early saves pain later. I set up i18next from day one with RTL support for Arabic, and it's already bringing in traffic from markets I never targeted manually.A "game-like" UI matters for this audience. Particle effects, card flip animations, and a dark theme that mimics the actual game interface keep people browsing longer.The site is completely free and ad-supported.
